Brandon Henriquez
Brandon Henriquez is the co-founder of Video Game Amateurs (VGA), a New York-based creative agency at the intersection of gaming, music and culture. A New York native and proud advocate for community-first programming, he has built VGA into one of the most dynamic grassroots forces in the city’s esports and entertainment scene. He's fostered partnerships with brands like Nike, Red Bull, Meta, Made in NY, the Mayor's office of Media and Entertainment in NYC and Warner Music.
Through VGA, he’s helped launch events like the Power Up Festival and the inaugural NYC Video Game Festival, where he led production, logistics, and collegiate tournament management across 22 New York-based schools. Under his leadership, VGA has also raised over $10,000 for nonprofit organizations that uplift youth and underrepresented communities. Henriquez brings a unique blend of cultural insight, creative direction and on-the-ground organizing that continues to redefine how gaming and live experiences converge in urban spaces.
