Dwayne Meekins has forged an impressive path in the gaming and esports industry. His journey from lifelong gamer to starting a mobile gaming theater with his wife in 2011 to teaching esports and gaming technology at Johnson C. Smith University allows him to showcase his passion and expertise in the field. Becoming the esports coordinator at North Carolina A&T State University, his alma mater, in 2023 was a full-circle moment and a testament to his dedication to the esports community and education. He is proud to have such a deep understanding of gaming and how that understanding allows him to make significant contributions to both academia and the industry.
