Ed Fleming is a video game industry executive, event planner, motivational speaker, runner, futurist and mindfulness coach. Fleming has nearly 35 years of experience working within the video game, education, esports and event industries. His experience with esports dates back to the late 1980s where he competed in a series of video game competitions, including the 1990 Nintendo World Championships — he even owns a copy of the NWC Grey Cartridge, the holy grail in the video game and esports collector world. Since 2003, Fleming has operated Fleming Tech Camps, where his company offers over 100 next-generation educational programs to help children build their foundation with digital-age skills that they can use to be creators and leaders in the Metaverse. His programs cover a wide range of STEM topics including video game design, esports, computer programming, robotics, video production and digital arts. Fleming's experience with event planning dates back to the early 1990s where he started his event production career by producing Star Trek, Sci-Fi and other pop culture events. Through his Meetings and Adventures brand, he provides consulting services for incentive events, corporate business meetings, MICE and SMERF events and for esports rights holders, where he provides strategic planning and venue selection services.
