Jonathan Paris currently serves as the executive director of sports tourism for Visit Myrtle Beach (South Carolina), a position he has held since January 2018. As a 20+ year veteran of the sports tourism industry, Paris has held roles in both sports event recruitment and management in Boston, Austin and now Myrtle Beach. In this current role, he oversees the sports tourism initiatives along the 60 miles of the Grand Strand. In 2022, Visit Myrtle Beach launched an initiative to bring more esports events to the Grand Strand.
