Commissioner Tim Acri was elected to the Covington Board of Commissioners in November 2024 and began his first term in January 2025.  He has been a fixture in Covington for almost 30 years. Acri first moved to Northern Kentucky in 1994 after serving in the U.S. Navy and completing college. In 1997, he purchased a “fixer upper” home in Covington, where he still lives today with his wife and three amazing dogs. His passion for local government runs through his veins as his father was a city commissioner and mayor of Steelton, Pennsylvania, which is where Tim was raised.
