Tim Busse was sworn in as mayor of the city of Bloomington on January 2, 2020 – the city’s first new mayor in two decades. Prior to his election as mayor, he served two four-year terms as council member at large. Professionally, Busse works as government relations manager for SkyWater Technology, a U.S. owned and Bloomington-based semiconductor manufacturer. His career path has included leadership roles with the League of Minnesota Cities, the University of Minnesota and Construct Tomorrow.
