Timothy Ray is an accomplished sports and event professional with a strong track record in driving sports tourism, managing large-scale events, and building strategic partnerships across the Southeast. As sports sales manager at Cobb Travel & Tourism, he connects event planners, venue operators, and hospitality partners to bring impactful sporting events to Cobb County-boosting both visitor spending and the region's sports profile.

Before joining Cobb Travel & Tourism, he held leadership roles at Comcast Xfinity and AMB Sports & Entertainment, contributing to high-profile events for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and other marquee brands. His career began in collegiate athletics with Georgia Southern University and Georgia Tech, and he's been hands-on with major events like the 2018 MLS Cup, College Football Playoff National Championship, and multiple SEC Championships.

A proud graduate of Jacksonville University (M.S.) and Georgia Southern (B.S.), he pairs academic insight with real-world experience. He's also passionate about using sports as a tool for community connection-supporting youth programs, fan engagement, and nonprofit initiatives across the region.
