Vlad Marinescu is president of the International Esports Federation (IESF). He also previously served as director general for SportAccord, an umbrella organization for all international sport federations, Olympic and Non-Olympic. There, he oversaw management of the organization's administration as well as led the building of strategy to implement an expansion of the organization, its activities and its projects. Marinescu has worked in international sport for over 20 years. He is Romanian born, American raised and studied in Budapest. He has worked through each level of sports organization management from athlete to event organizer in all departments, to management of sports organization and sports business.
